In this page we see Ernie reading E.B.'s book. Gloria, a coworker, walks by and asks him 'Whatchu readin'?'. Ernie is surprised and panics, throws the book away startling Gloria and presumably breaking a window, and yels 'Nothin'! Reading?? What's that?!'. E.B.'s Diary reads: 'March 1910. I have found something. Something uncanny. I have been investigating it for almost two years, and I am aghast at what I have learned. This should be a new field of study, by all accounts, and lacking a better name I shall call it 'smilology''
