In this page Gloria, Ernie and Frida sit at a round table. Gloria asks Frida 'Well, what'd you think?'. Frida replies 'It was... Ok. At first I thought it was silly, but... the more I read the more I understood why you were both so into it yesterday'. They seem troubled. Ernie says 'Huh. Ernie's not so outrageous now, eh?'. But Frida says 'Still outrageous'. 'Oh, very much so'. E.B.'s journal says: 'Upon laying eyes on this vision Mr. Thomas ran away. Anyone would have. Once he finished relating his story, Mr. Thomas rose from his chair, bid me good-bye, and left. I have not heard from him in about a fortnight. The... similarities between his story and my own experience keep me up at night. Perhaps I should... no. Not yet.'
