Here Frida looks at the book. They ask 'But. Who wrote this? Where did it come from??'. Gloria pulls out her phone and says 'I looked online, found nothing.' Ernie takes the book and examines it closely, sating 'Binding looks to be 100 years old, so that checks. Makes the juxtaposition with the smiley face very intriguing, given that that's a more modern abstraction... Though I suppose later popularity does not exclude earlier use...'. Both Frida and Gloria are befuddled off-screen : 'WHAT'. E.B.'s journal reads: 'December 1910. I left the British Isles and landed on the New World. I have gathered enough stories and pictures in the Old Continent, but something tells me that the phenomenon I am studying - what I have dubbed 'The Smiey' - is present elsewhere too. Stories and pictures are just that, though, and I seek answers.'
